Poolside News – End of Season Newsletter

End of Season Newsletter

Sunday, September 4th was another stellar pool day accompanied by a BBQ and a variety of events for the children.  Thank you to all those who helped make it a memorable day for all!

A special thank you to Mike and his staff for grilling and preparing those wonderful salads!  Pool Members are welcome to continue to enjoy the bar and kitchen throughout the fall and winter months.  Please check the website on a regular basis for announcements.

Kitchen Hours

This weekend: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (9/9, 9/10, 9/11)

12-6 p.m.

The remainder of the month: Saturdays and Sundays 12-6 p.m.

We were also proud of our dedicated Lifeguard Staff who kept us safe and provided swim lessons to the children and adults.  We hope that many will return again for the 2023 Pool Season.  The pool was open for fifteen consecutive weeks from Memorial Day to Labor Day.  We only had to close one day!

Lifeguard Staff:

Keira Seaman, Lily Magurno, Kira Tuko, Matthew Huffnagle, Serena Jabar, Oliver Rakowski, Saniyah Wiltshire.

Our dedicated servers “walked miles” over the summer weekends!  Special thanks to Kelly, Abby, Lizzy, and Samantha!

The lovely flowers along the fence and in planters were gifts from Steve Elias, MET PGA, and Anne Kane.  Anna West dedicated her time to water them almost every day!  Thank you, Anna!

As you know, The Board of Directors continues to support the pool and several members work behind the scenes to oversee the operations and mechanical infrastructure.  Thank you to Kerry Garo, Bob Boolukos, & Bobby Martin, Sr. for your dedication!

Save the Date!      Pool Committee Work Day      9/17/2022

Have a great fall and winter season!  See you next year!
