We hope that you have been enjoying the welcoming warm water, whether you are a lap swimmer, a quiet reader, or having fun with friends and family! We had a remarkable July 4th Weekend with water volleyball and corn hole in the late afternoons. Families had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the holiday weekend.
The Servers, Bartenders, and Kitchen Staff need to be commended for their attentive service even under the heat of those hot, simmering, summer days! Drink specials by the pool seem to get the attention of everyone! Thank you for continuing to support our conservation efforts to own a reusable drink cup!
Our lifeguards have been second to none! We appreciate them and hope that they will consider another season here at Southern Dutchess. We will miss those that are off to college and wish them the best of luck for the semesters ahead.
On Tuesday, July 29, 2025, we had our July inspection from the Board of Health. We were given positive feedback, however, one new procedure has been put in place in the event a lifeguard is alone at the pool attending to an emergency. If you are on the course, on the porch, bar, Pro Shop and hear the sound of an air horn (without lighting in the air) please go to the pool and assist in any way that you can. We need everyone’s cooperation and assistance. You could save a life!
A new Pool Party Reservation form has been developed reflecting the increase in guest fees. Please feel free to use it. See attached.
Thank you for signing in each time you use the pool and having your guests do the same. Your cooperation is appreciated! As you know, we now have a guest fee box for the $ envelope.
Swimming lessons will continue for the month of August, please text or email Mike Mastrianni @ mikemastrianni1@gmail.com or 845-416-5528 to request lessons. We encourage you to take advantage of our talented lifeguards to work with you and your child in the pool.

If you haven’t experienced Labor Day Events at SDCC; please mark your calendars for Sunday, August 31, 2025 with a rain date of Monday, September 1, 2025.
The kitchen will be open for the entire weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Labor Day!) The Servers will also be working the holiday weekend.
Celebrate the End of Summer with Us…
Throughout the month of August you will see the sign-up boards out every weekend for our Labor Day Events. Adults and children of all ages are invited to participate!

Treasure Hunt (You will see a jug of change appear at different places at The Club. We are collecting the coins for the children’s “water dive”. Winners will receive a free snack from the Caddy Shack.)
All the activities will be explained on the boards and the children may sign up for what they want to do. Parents are encouraged to help us out with “scoring” and recording winners. Please add your name to the bottom of the activity that you are comfortable with. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
