Dining and Events

Whether it’s a party to celebrate the holidays, a special anniversary, or just a business luncheon you’re planning, we have the perfect setting. We can comfortably seat one hundred in our main dining room – with its large dance floor – or up to forty on our more intimate enclosed porch. Both rooms adjoin our lounge – with its full service bar – for cocktails before during or after. Learn more and sign up for Membership Opportunities!

History

Southern Dutchess Country Club celebrated its 100th Anniversary in 2002! Enjoy some photos here to get a better historical sense of how the course has evolved throughout the years. For more details, SDCC Member Ian MacDonald (since 1948) recorded a history of our golf course- from caddying before he was old enough to become a Junior Member to growing up in the house directly across the street from our 9th green, which certainly qualifies Ian as having a good historical sense of how the course has evolved, not to mention a very good memory. See his historical account!
